Worst Surf Film of All Time?

    I would like to know what your opinion is, but I have to say I really really hated these films:

    In God's Hands
    Step Into the Liquid
    Blue Crush <- I think I saw like 5 minutes of this.

    Just me :rolleyes:

    i liked watching girls surf in blue crush :) but thats just me. And i thought step into liquid was a good movie.

    for "surf movie" id say the drifter cause theres barely any surfing in it. if it was best arsty video clips it showing a section of someones life, then id say drifter

    you know i almost agree with you, they really could have left out Machado's insightful thoughts which were so frigging thoughtless.

    Thats what the movie was about Machado's thoughts about life and stepping out of ones comfort zone. What little surifng was in it was good

    I Have to say Step into Liquid or This longboard movie I got called Faces

    How are Riding Giants and Step Into Liquid being considered bad? "Back To The Beach" now THERES a surf film................bird is the word!

    except for step into liquid, none of these are "surf films". they are crappy hollywood movies that feature surfing. tho in god's hands is significantly better than blue crush.

    also, riding giants, IMO, is one of the best surf documentaries i've seen in a long, long time.
    & as weird & trippy as morning of the earth is, there is some pretty progressive surfing in it, given the time period it was film...just get past the acid trippiness & the cock fighting scene.

    as far as true surf films go, "the drive thru: new zealand," "fin" & especially "musica surfica" were 3 of the most disappointing films i've seen lately. :(

    step into liquid sucked. girls surf videos suck, all they do is cut backs and get head dips. I enjoy most surf videos though.

    Riding Giants is one of my top 5 favorite surfing movies

    Really how can anything with Greg Noll and Laird Hamilton be bad:confused:
