Been okay here. Nice thing has been when there are swells, it hasn't been too cold (35-40F) which beats -50F!!!!!
Had a few okay swells and a lot of really sh1tty wind crap.

    Wourde.

It hasn't been great down in the Bahamian shadow. We did get an epic (for us) swell two weeks ago but it has otherwise been hurting. The water and air both remain crazy warm. Only one morning in the low 50s so far.

We haven't had a great winter in CFL but plenty of ok-fun days. The best swells for winter didn't come until february the past two years, so I would just give it time.

We've actually had a pretty good winter here in the PNW..."excellent" if you prefer DOH bombs and howling offshores. I usually wait for the swell to drop into the HH range, and there's been plenty of those as well.

Just had another weekend of almost 3XOH swell hit this coast, rendering most spots unrideable...unless you know where to go.

    Trevolution knows.

I would say swell-wise Delmarva has been average to a little above average for the past month or two. Several of the past few Januarys have been bitter cold with endless NW winds blowing the ocean flat. We've actually had several decent NE swells and a couple of S wind swells, water temps above 40 and air temps well above normal. I've definately had more good surfs this first month of winter than most of the past few years.

If it where to go offshore today at 5-10mph we'd have waves till April.
Absolutely a rager of a blow!

its been pretty consistant in the mid atlantic, jersey speaking.we're not getting sizeable storms that are epic, just a standard good day of surfing 3-5 footers.havnt had a serious swell yet.might have one tomorrow lol.theres been a lot of activity and no snow,so that's always good.

I think this winter has been relatively decent for the Jersey folk. I've scored fun sessions every week since late November.

Dude...totally sucks up here. Especially January. Everyone in ME and New England should quit surfing and just go to the slopes to bang chicks and sloflo

Winter ain't over yet. Still have almost 2/3rds to go.
Weather-wise, winter here has been mostly damp and overcast so far.
But due to family responsibilities and car problems, I haven't been out much since the beginning of Dec.

Depends how you look at it. We hadn't had any epic days yet. Although today may be epic but i can't make it out. And it's probably a ***** with this E swell, most likely a only handful of waves day before you get swept way down the beach. Plus with the lower tide I'm guessing close out city. Hence why i didn't bail on work today to get some.

But besides that there hasn't been anything epic. A few fun days for sure. Maybe it's just my timing this winter is off. But i feel like when the swells there, the winds aren't. And when the winds are good, the swell isn't. But like i said, been some fun days and it's been warm and not much snow. Depending how you look at it that could be a plus.

Definitely still lots of winter left though. It ain't over until you start seeing soft tops and chick's sun bathing on the beach
