So my quiver consists of a 9' Becker single fin, a 7' epoxy funboard, a 6'9" custom (my fave), and a 6'3" 7s Aussie fish. I paid 225 for the 7s used and I was gonna sell it cause I never use it. Its really light and kinda tough to paddle. I put it on Craig's list for 200 and gotta couple of offers but I just can't let it go. I went surfing yesterday and I'm going today and its not even in the car. I just dont wanna sell it. Am I just hoarding boards? Tell me what you would do. Thanks for the feedback and sarcasm in advance.

Yes. Sell it. You don't use it and don't seem to like it.

Only cost you $25 if you sell for 200; ergo, you got a lot of use from it for $25.

    Listen to nynj

Whatever you do, do NOT donate to a certain chanting, drooling freak who is eyeballing you from behind the steering wheel of a windowless white van. If you make that donation mistake, FLA CPS will consider you an accessory to the crimes.

Sell it. 6'3 is a bad size for a fish anyway... unless you're huge.

    Yes.

Sell that sh*t man; it's not like it's got some local soul and you could put it on a wall. My first board doesn't ride so well but it's got a story behind it and I don't ever want to let it go. However, I see no reason for any sentimentality with a 7S ... get rid of it and get yo'self a Krunk Grill. Or a round trip ticket to San Diego.

sounds like your paddling isn't quite there, yet. I also hate when a board is too light and the nose rocker on the aussie fish is way over the top (who designed that sh!t?) - it would have to go. I've sold boards for less serious offenses...once the garage starts looking like a surf shop, it's probably time to sell a couple.

Sell it and get a board you really like or learn to really like the board.

your 6'3 is probably meant for head high waves and ur trying to paddle into chest high waves.it makes a big difference,I started off riding a board meant for big waves and no matter how hard I paddled, how far inside I sat I could never properly catch a wave until someone told me that boards used for charging 15ft pipe.

yea sell ur boards u don't use,no point in hoarding them unless u have the space.

Thanks for the input. Probably should sell it. Definitely not donating it!

Your other option is to give it to someone deserving.

Not just anyone but a kid you know or a friend who would appreciate it.

Good idea. At least you'll know now that's not a board for you. Use the cash for something you'll love to ride!
