I know Seldom is off today but you guys have been absolutely boring as sh!t today.

Didn't anyone get arrested this weekend or something?

I was just bored to death at work today. You guys, and your inactivity, actually had me focusing on work projects today. Now, I'll have nothing to do for a week.

Thanks you nancy-boy sissies. Go get in some trouble and report back here....

And stop selling boards on here. I hope Mr. Swellinfo Guy taxes you for each transaction.

Its too hot to get in trouble. Sometimes all u can do is sit on the porch and squirt a hose at one another.

We had to pull over for the cops and EMS and saw her covered with a white sheet when we rode past. We were hoping it was just someone who was overheated that they were trying to cool off.

Sad to hear that wasn't the case.

AHH, and here I am, your man for all this Hammonton.

You guys Italian? That goes a LONG way there. Just ax Mr. Sniffer. He's Italian. He has five green awnings on his house and a Virgin Mary statue in the front yard.

Hammonton is a strange place. There's the downtown that can remind one of a Phoenix neighborhood. Then there's Uptown(no really) which is the commercial suburban-like area of business(Rt 30 corridor). And then there's everything from rich Italian guys with haciendas to dirt poor migrant properties...all next to each other !!

Hit me with any specific questions. Remember he's moving to "Ghetto in the Woods."

Dude, sounds like you need a hug from Slater.

Caught some decent waves Sat morn. 3 guys out....imagine that, I found a sandbar working and it was not crowded.

So...Riley, you only Sponge? I thought you surfed (standing up on a board). It's all good, I was just reading one of the other threads about you guys bro'n out. Why did I think you surfed....did you in the past and quit? Have you ever tried? Just curious

thank you for the info. and i'm sorry, I also knew Hammonton, nj as the home of the best writer on swellinfo. and that's the truth, not flattery, for I never go for brownie points, as anyone knows me will well advise.

we're not Italian. or Mexican. so I guess we're in trouble.

all I know about Hammonton is the best blueberries. so I look it up and find out it's the 2nd best place to live in nj.
    why?

oh, and I found out there is a wawa and a Walmart. sold.

    what about crime and violence?
the haves live in harmony with the have-nots?
sounds like Hammonton is a confused place, or perhaps the 2nd best place to live in nj.

I found it on a map, and it looks like it's a ride to the surf, but central to philly and ac.

but it's a good job, and he's getting $5,000 to relocate near Kramer beverage.
sounds like it will be difficult to find a decent place to live for a single 24 year-old male non-migrant, non-Italian.

yo riles what up my smigger?

u aint go to the bEACH fest in the burg/?lmao

I went Friday night to the burg, since my spot been nothing but tiny ankle biting sharks,so I ventured north to Keansburg.apparently there was some huge beach fest with over 10k people littered across the sand.they let us walk up the beach, asking us for our 150$ wristbands every 5 ft.so we get to the beach, start drinking, smoking, etc.catch 3 sharks, release them all, call it a night, and start walking back to the car and security is like nah yall aint getting through without wristbands.i thought for sure there was going to be a fight, and its a bad move to pick a fight with guys coming off the beach from fishing being that we had 3 filet knives, another crocodile Dundee blade to cut up the bait, and the 3 pole holders that are sharpened like arrows.anyway I kept arguing,I told my boys no isn't an option and they eventually let us through...

that was just the first night lol.2nd night we fished in the highlands, same story just 1 baby shark and bunch of little bites.

so sunday I drive through the burg lol, there was a crew of some hard looking chargers carrying shortboards and fishes walking from the bay lol.my brother who doesn't even surf, nor like beaches, was like look at that shyt here lol.wish I could've got a pic.it looked like a hipster festival.i bet the beach in the burg is littered beyond recognicion

Ha, nice! Good thing I'm only half italian or this might be the case.

I thank my god (My god is space and time) everyday that I have some Nordic blood running thru me because if I were 100% italian, there is no way I would be interested in surfing or if I did I would really suck at it, along with being 3 inches shorter and even hairier and greasier than I already am.

It's called the "dog days of summer", a period of stagnation and inactivity, flat surf (here anyway), and afternoon heat indices of 105 and above. At 9 PM the temp is still 90.
The gnats, skeeters, and biting flies seem to like it though.
There's also the summer evening alcohol consumption around a backyard fire pit or in the small above-ground pool my wife put up.
It all cuts into creative posting.

Experienced my first stingray barb through the foot/ankle on sunday afternoon. I was being lazy in the minimal surf, so I jumped off my board to stand. Big mistake. Felt like something bit me, then a sharp sting (almost like a jelly). By the time I made it out of the water, the entry wound was pouring blood. I got to spend a couple hours in the ER. They soaked my foot in hot water, gave me a tetanus shot, took some anti-nausea meds, then took some oxycodone. After the Xray showed there was no barb left in my foot, I got released with 2 weeks worth of strong antibiotics. Good times. Sh1t made jelly stings seem like a mosquito bite in comparison.
