    WRV 6'6 shortboard. 6'6 x 19 x 2 9/16 Thruster
    Minami 6'8 shortboard. 6'8 x 18 3/4 x 2 9/16 Thruster (I think no pics of back of board)

The WRV is in better shape and has brand new fcs g5-x fins on it. Minami looks more dated dinged up, guy said it was a travel board he got in hawaii. Doubt it was handshaped because of the serial number under the glass. The wrv has the shapers signature under the glass.

My dad says go 6'8 because the extra volume will be wanted in the middle of winter with the added rubber weight. I'm thinking 6'6 for slightly tighter turns.

BTW I'm 6'0 and 175 lbs, but still bulking for sports. Plan to stop at 180-185. I'm in great shape and stepping down from a long 7'10 thruster.

So which do you guys think I should get?

If the dimensions you listed are correct, they have virtually the same amount of volume. The WRV could even have more volume if its slightly wider. Go with the WRV if its in better shape. A dinged up 6'8" Hawaiian built travel board sounds to me like something designed for bigger waves and something you should pass on, especially if you are used to riding a 7'10".
