Who do you like? Who do you think you could do a better job than? Hate to love? Who do you wanna punch?

    My personals..
Like: Pete Mel (bc of the meth-mad respect), Potts, Ross williams
Better than: Rosy Hodge (so vague), Ronnie Blakely (doesn't surf?)
H2L: Joe Turpel (Passively egotistical, but a solid announcer), Strider Wazalewskizcsitz
Wanna Punch: Chris Cote, Joe Turpel

I may have missed some, theres so many with the mad heats of the US open

No punching from here, unless it's a latex dummy.

Have grown to appreciate Turpel's commentary, dude really knows his stuff & has a passion for the sport. Although he does sound like most Cali doods, aka, repeatedly kicked in the nutsack until shrill. Best combo is Turpel & Potts, good on-air flow.

The worst 'announcer' the WSL has is that millennial girl, the daughter of the famous LA producer, name escapes me & that's ok, too.

Mel is good. Blakey, eh, something about him seems arrogant, I turn the sound down when he's yammering.

Anyways, I like the improvements the website has made over the years. And the camer work is really pretty good.

Just need more sound of waves, surfers talking smack in the water, crowd noise, there's too much silence other than announcer voices & it's not a silent sport.

    Good tread.

I find chris cote quite entertaining. Joey Turpel, on the other hand, would be much better suited as a salesman in a surf shop...a surf shop I would avoid.

Wassel is my fav. I like Ross Williams and Pottz.
Trupell, eh, I guess he's ok.
    Can't stand Blakey's voice.
Best commentating I ever heard was Freddie P. during the final of the Eddie a few years back. Fukin classic!

I was listening to Rory Parkers podcast (Beachgrit), and he had Wassel on - Prob a month ago.

Dave made it sound like he pissed off some big wigs at WSL for commenting the Red Bell Cape contest. Wont be surprised if you never see him do a CT event againe.

They over do the announcing way to much.

    Turpel is annoying.

    Wasselhoff for sure! Hands down.

Ross Williams has good insight, observations and analysis (yes i know it's only surfing but still).

    Pottz: very predictable.
    Rosy Hodge: awful.
    Turpel: solid
Blakey: only there to fill the Australian void
Mel: Awkward in a good way
    Strider: chill
