    That doesn't make any sense......

How did the Confederates challenge The Man.......

    They formed a military..........

Oh only The U.S. military is bad, right?

I would give out my own personal charity voluntarily to those that I FELT deserved it, if I wasnt being taxed to oblivion I would give EVEN MOAAARRR!!!! I already donate DIRECTLY to certain orgs and causes

I would bypass sh!tbags who feel they are owed something and keep my own counsel how I donate MY OWN money that I earned with MY labor, Capiche?

I answered this months ago but you ignored it as it seemed to bother you that this is a reasonable answer (volunteer charity as opposed to FORCED TAXATION)

If you think I should be forced to pay taxes, you are sending violent agents to me, aka you are contracting out the violence you think I deserve, again, this is too much logic for a deluded individual such as yourself

keep busy, learn how to do something that makes you money (doesn't have to be a ton) that you're also passionate about, and stay as healthy as possible. that's the secret to life in a nutshell. best of luck to you, and get off the couch.

Another cop-out. Because you can't explain. One moment killing and the military are bad......

Then it's ok when the south tried to rise again......

Oh, you know where I am, huh? Ha, that's good. Actually, you might say I'm where you say you ought to be if you were serious aboot your convictions...... I have a "friend" like you. He Loves people in a guise to make money. One with the earth and imagines utopia.........while cashing in.

Hey if you hate The United States of America so much, then leave it. Living in Hawaii you should be able to find like-minded people. Meet with them and curse the great Satan that destroyed the once noble, cannibalistic culture the natives once enjoyed.......as you type on a computer, play with your cell phone and wear your Levis.

Dude, you hardly sound charitable.....You sound like a misguided, uninformed Tea Party type

So you'd play GOD, and help those YOU think deserve it......

No you didn't answer my questions...

Again, in your perfect no tax utopia, what do you do with those that can't afford healthcare, and you don't like?

In this system that we have now. IT IS CHEAPER to provide preventive measures and give people medical care. It's the ER- based system that actually costs YOU more.

Volunteer Charity? Really? Oh my Gosh your answers are so simplistic and have no basis in the real world. Volunteer Charity....that's pretty good.

    YEAH that would work.

Hey MIS-13 when you running for office?

easy there Holden, I can explain but to borrow a quote from Wayne, I am done casting my pearls before swine
what have you ever contributed to society, I imagine you are a net taker, not a net contributor

I dont fancy myself God, but I do think the fruits of my Labor are my own, glad you think its ok to help yourself to something I earned

I wont ever run for office, Plato's republic explains why, but I cant expect you to trouble yourself to read that

I'm not saying slavery is moral at all, its very immoral, but The Rebels had rights to own people as property and to secede from the Republic granted to them by a flawed US Constitution. They tried to get out of the union by the books early on peacefully. They were not allowed to pull out gracefully. It's analogous to the south playing the role of a woman forced to stay married to a husband that was abusive and that had beat up alot of the neighbors, and they knew it. So they prepared for an altercation and they got it. People either have the right to protect their lives and property from anyone, even the US Government, or they don't have rights.

So what have you contributed to society?

    What do you do?

You don't do anything for me, partner. Nothing. Actually, New Jersey doesn't get much back from their federal taxes. The gov spends more on states like Kentucky. Yeah it's the red states that receive the most federal welfare.....go figure....

Ahh typical MIS-13, says he can refute me or answer my question but just offers deflecting references.......or says, " I could explain but I won't (insert random excuse here)"

Hey stop having Plato do your work for you. You're being violent there.

Dude, I can't wait for next November...........AC boardwalk. The first of Swellinfo.com's Society debates.

Alright, I'm otta here for the night, I have things to take from hard working people. Ok MIS-13, have a good night in Ice Land. Watch out for choke mokes. Man, what if you were actually here in New Jersey this whole time, and just said you lived in Hawaii? I don't know. I don't know what to believe on the computer. So many people take on personalities so different from real life.

So is violence ok or not? One minute it's wrong and then the next it's ok.

    I'm confused.

Um...tea party and conservative people are mre charitable than liberal and the scale was weighted in all the studies I've actually researched. I don't make a lot of money as of now, am pro military but small gov outside of that, pro business, and cut a check for $100 today to the neediest families foundation. I'd rather know where my money will go to help people.

Op - once again if you have the financial option to finish school without debt get a degree or trade dialed in. If not, join the military. Nothing wrong that.

There's no violence in defensively protecting your homefront. I know its hard to reason thru all the cognitive dissonance but That's something The US Military has never done, defensively protected the home front that is.

Anarchists are all about the right of self defense.

    rather well said BBG
    two things
    1) pearl Harbor is debatable in your example, although not a state it was territory (that was stolen from Polynesians who stole it from menehunes :) )
    2) Slaves had the NATURAL right and human duty to rise against their masters,

And for the record if the OP had mentioned he wanted to start working with the US Post Office in lieu of college I doubt MIS and I would have brought up any (major) moral objections. No sparks fly when people speak disparagingly about the USPS, because there's no programmed emotional response assigned to protecting that institution. The sparks start flying only because we are criticizing The military and the fact that it can be argued that it does not serve who we think it serves or for the reasons we are told it serves. We are programmed from birth to love and respect this institution. That's the only reason we do. We can't see the truth about our own brand of Imperialistic militarism because there's a thick, emotionally charged, haze of slogans and propaganda clouding our ability to decipher just what it is our supposedly "defensive" armed forces are being used for. Governments, as fascistic as ours has become, have always used public relations to build emotional support in the citizenry. It's Goebbels 101. PR people..PR.. A good example is how right after WWII the PR wizards went about changing the "War Department"'s name to the "Department of Defense" and over time everyone on the street started to buy the story sold to them. That story goes like this: --when we OFFENSIVELY invade other countries, No matter how far away from us the country is, or how weak and impotent their military may seem to be, it's in the homelands DEFENSE, and in it's citizens best interest. Oh and usually it's in the best interests of the invaded country -wink wink-

Don't think. Just obey. you don't understand any of this anyway so just go away...and remember to support The Troops--

EXACTLY... Natural Rights often and invariably conflict with those legal rights (privileges really) "protected by the troops" ... further proving how troops can't protect anyone's rights.

Making something legal or illegal is the fancy way to take away peoples Natural Rights. Its the job of military and security forces and police to impose these dictates.

HI was more an island compound for the NAVY and not a state at the time so I hold firm to my earlier comments. We had no legitimate business being there. Was just a long drawn out experiment in building our own empire. The Pineapple barons probably loved all that american steel around to keep the locals in line.
