    To the OP:
By a used chopper (Harley, Indian, Triumph, etc), take it apart. Put it back together. Buy new, raked out, front forks. Put them on the chopper with your own two hands. Ride your chopper with pride knowing you wrenched it.
Next, buy a blank. Come up with board dimensions in your head. Shape the blank. Glass the blank. Ride the board with pride knowing you made it. THEN, make a decision about what you want to do. Trade schools are good. a specific program at a college is good. Special Ed teachers are in demand. So are software programmers (Java, .NET, Oracle, C++, etc). Science and bio research.
Build stuff with your hands first to get the 'laziness' out of you.

We dealt with the Natives like that because they would have kept killing Pale Face if we did anything but keep them at arm's length.

I don't understand what you're trying to get at with the second request...

Best reason to NOT sell Puerto Ricans is all the magic they work with plantains.

Mic's are cops, Pols are firefighters... it's the way of the world.

Nahh man that's the Wasp's......The Irish only hate the British....like the real ones across the pond. Polish people don't hate anybody. They don't have the mental faculties to hate.

Ok, so Two Polish guys walk into a bar.....

    Dude, every ethnicity hates.

A handful of you guys stray pretty far away from the topic threads. How canthe op find anything you guys write credible when you can't even focus or follow general guidelines?

    Yup I'm biased.
    Biased by facts.
What are some of the facts?

Slavery was legal and proper according to Federal legislation and precedent at the time.

So (sorry to rehash earlier post) in order for the Slaves to become free some group of people would have had to act against Federal authority.
    i.e.
SOMEONE, anyone (white , black, free, slave, foreign etc) would've had to REVOLT against the laws of the USA.
If the Slaves would've revolted as many abolitionists wanted, they would have been breaking federal and state and local laws and they would've been mowed down by the local state and federal authorities, only following orders.
Instead you had a White led rebellion in the South but the outcome is the same as the above scenario and the lesson is taught that you DO NOT F$CK WITH THE FEDERAL POWER OF THE USA.

I'm anti-Govt AND anti-military bc I know the troops would've been ordered to quell any resistance to federal authority in 1861. Whether pro-slave or pro-freedom it mattered not to Lincoln. You were gonna die if you chose to exercise your rights.

I had a touch of the 'Irish Flu' this weekend even though I'm of Latin/Mediterranean descent. Didn't keep me from dropping a decent 6 pointer right at dusk on Monday. That made me feel like a Native American. To celebrate, I drank shots of Crown Royal that made me 'Chinese Eyed'

Puerto Rican? Ah man, I have(had) PR friends and I wish I had my handy guide to dirty Spanish (PR influenced) sayings........damn I lost that thing. They gave me some good ones.

Now I live in the most Italian populated town in America(per capita)...so naturally one can understand my feelings aboot Italians.....

Disclaimer: Before any of the slow ones get upset. I do NOT dislike Puerto Ricans or Italians. I'm not too fond of Russia and most of Eastern Europe, though.

You know heroin was legal at one point also......You know changes occur when it seems to be in the best interest of the common good...

So, I'd love to here how you'd run a country. Please be realistic not propose some Disneyland.

And you can buck the Federal government. Washington and Colorado are doing so right now.....along with several other states who buck the federal government for medicinal purposes........

I used to buck the federal government everyday. Was even followed by the feds once. But that was because my boy was Italian. See what Italians do to you.......

oh slavery has never gone away... It just took alot of PR to convince people that they are free.

yes, and that is easier to process than the idea that Americans are still enslaving Americans...via the National (and State's and City's) Debt

The greatest investment you can make is to your mind. School, and your choice of study, doesn't have to shape what you do for work, but it will give you a solid foundation in work ethic. If you want to master something, surfing, carpentry, trading stocks, etc, you have to dedicate yourself to it.
The couch can wait till you are an old man. For now - get fired up. WORK!

Yeah. I'm hijacking this thread and turning it into a Der hunting thread! If Shane Dorian can hunt boar, I can hunt deer. i shot him around 4:30 on Monday. I was ready to get out of the woods cause there were coyotes all around me so I figured the deer weren't around. But he came strolling by me at about 40 yards. I dropped him on the spot so no tracking needed. Easy drag downhill to the truck. My cousin shot a monster in the morning. 10 point, 19 inch spread. About 240 pounds. Lots of chili in the Chavez household this Winter

I miss Northern Deer! A "monster" down here is 150 lbs. It's a lot warmer down here hunting though. Heaviest boots I were down here are Converse high tops!
