I get that and I respect the grind you and other folks here put in daily to get by. But at the end of the day, none of us are trying to decide whether to pay for groceries or medical bills vs. buying a new board, right? We're not walking from Aleppo to the German border or something while checking the SI forecast. So when a CA lawyer with a surf foundation wanks out some inspirational quote about how committed surfers (meaning himself of course) are to their sport like it's some sort of life benchmark, it's funny to me.
