We could all petition for the ban hammer to be thrusted. Honestly, it is likely that archy just had multiple accounts and is now spamming. After all, the most recent nut job posts come from posters that rarely use their accounts, and they both seem to be from NJ.
As for the topic at hand, jets leave streaks cause they are burning fuel. If we are talking about cloud seeding, that generally happens using prop planes, and is either silver iodide or dry ice. Silver iodide is generally low on the toxicity scale and is dispersed enough to be completely harmless.

If you didn't do anything wrong, who cares about a DNA swab? The dude the case is centered on is a rapist, and was caught because of the swab. What is the downside of this except FEELING like your rights aren't being respected? Is it the same give an inch and they'll (the gov't) take a mile?
The conspiracy theory whackos (and some "conservatives") give the gov't way too much credit. It's not organized or efficient enough to accomplish most of what you suggest.

it's so funny that the GMO nuts point to corporate greed as the motivator for 'poisoning' us but fail to understand that any profits derived from a harmful product would quickly be eaten up by lawsuits. Just more proof that they have limited capacity for rational thought. BTW--Thanks for mentally spanking Archy. I think the whole forum owes you a beer for that one.

It's called "cloud seeding" a common practice to manipulate the weather. The Chinese have been big into it and only naturally the USA needs to conduct experiments to see the benefits of weather as a weapon. Do I believe Sandy was man made...NO. Do I believe that some of these tornadoes could be man made....maybe. The problem is conspiracy theories is that the general sheeple brush them off as conspiracy theories when in reality they are based on fact. Technology and science is becoming so unbelievable now-a-days that people can't keep up with it and are often clueless to what is happening around them...therefore you get the..... "i don't understand something you just said so you're a wacko-bird conspiracy theorist" The most common response from sheeple.

As far as the cops taking your DNA? It's your genetic fingerprint.
What about schools taking Iris Scans of your kids like in Florida currently? All in the name of safety. What about doing things in the name of FREEDOM!!!!?

The thing that disturbs me is how little research anyone does before they quickly write off a "conspiracy nut." That term is so broad. Soem conspiracies DO ad DID happen, contrary to what those who try to refute them say. Now I don't believe in shape shifters, aliens, a mythical man in the sky who looks down on us and talks to us (God, Allah, whatever), or that the government is poisoning us with chem trails...but I also don't knock down people who believe in these things. Why don't I knock them down? Because I myself haven't done enough research to refute their evidence. Also, I am actually comforted knowing that people can have different beliefs in this beautiful country of ours.

Having said that, I am a fire protection engineer who designs fire protection systems for high-rise buildings in, among other places, NYC. I have personally read the NIST report on 9/11 multiple times (a VERY LONG technical read). In my expert opinion, from a structural/fire protection/general building science standpoint only, that NIST report is one of the worst pieces of garbage I've ever read. I consider myself extremely qualified to make this statement. Does that make me a conspiracy nut? I am not jumping to a conclusion saying anyone in particular was behind it...I have no evidence to support that type of claim. I am only commenting on the scientific and forensic "evidence" they present in the report. Some of the assumptions made in that NIST report are completely unfoundounded and in my opinion if I were to put out a report like that I would be reprimanded and possibly fired from my job. This is my profession people and I take it very seriously.

Okay, so you are the biggest dummy in the world.... that trail you see is called a condensation trail. its what happens when the super heated air comes out of the jet engine and mixes with the super cool air of the atmosphere.

    Now what?

...............conspiracy? Like NJAZguy said......check it out!!! Do your own research. And when researching make sure you only look at documents and evidence provided by the govt. smh

Conspiracies aside, every life loving surfer on here needs to be aware of the corporate/governement media complex. Believe nothing you see or hear on state run media, ie, Fox, NBC, CNN, ABC, PBS, NY Times, CBS, etc...

It's all filtered through editors who have to answer to a higher power. A giant media conglomerate in bed with govt. The media is broke if you don't realize that...YOU ARE THE FOOKING WACK-A-DO!! To question the media/govt/corporate complex is not crazy conspiracy theorist nonsense.....it's being sane, alive, awake......FREEDOM!!

I do research them and post data that counters the arguments. Did you not read my many threads with archy. I counter him with articles and studies, then he throws out another theory without evidence. The problem is, at some point, we get tired of battling people that never use real scientific evidence to form their opinion. How do I argue when someone uses beliefs instead of data? Sure, many on here just tell the tin foil hatters to fug off, but I don't blame them. If you are using sites like infowars as your reference, you don't deserve an intelligent conversation. Now, post some real studies and data, and I think you should get a polite response.

Laughable comment, despite your effort to sound smart with power words. You're saying nobody ever got rich by selling people cigarettes? Don't be so naive, there's plenty of examples of corporations producing and marketing dangerous, unproven products, and making billions from them.
Brings BP to mind, did lawsuits from the worst oil spill in history take them down?

Its not just opening the door to them, its more like holding it open for them all day long and encouraging them to come in and play by replying to each and every nutjob conspiracy theory post with a science based rebuttal. Not you, others.

I have a problem with allowing misinformation to be presented as fact to the public, without also showing real data and facts. There aren't enough people countering the conspiracy theorists, and they are spreading. If more people start fighting back, with data, we will see the conspiracy people come around a lot less. Look at archy. He couldn't handle a civil and intelligent conversation. He got angry and left. Unfortunately, it looks like he has multiple accounts.
