i voted yes, but feel the need to clarify. i believe there is other intelligent life in the universe. i am uncertain, leaning toward skeptical nonbeliever, that they have visited the earth &/or interacted w/ humans. i guess maybe i should have picked no.
Nah man, that's a solid yes in my book...I should've clarified the question. Again, error on my part, that would've been an appropriate third option. Thanks for your participation thus far fellers, I like the pics included too.
that's awesome...& i've wanted to try the coil kool-aid. maybe when i get some $$$ saved up i should give them a call & see if they'll do one up for me. i like the widerboard & m80 templates.
because humans so often behave like cabbage heads…i think we are just being tended to: like veggies in a garden. i mean, when its time for a head of lettuce to be minced….do they even know what they're in for? no? maybe we suffer from same…….ignorance.
Improbable to think intelligent alien life doesn't exist. Eukaryotes have proven to survive in some of the most ridiculous conditions on earth. To say life can't adapt to anything is a bananas statement. I think we need to broaden our horizons a bit though. We need to lose the notion that everything needs oxygen and water, and that intelligent life = humanoid. We could encounter a silicon based blob of sorts. Who knows. Probability of intelligent life in the cosmos is fairly high, especially considering the age of some systems.
The earth does some crazy **** to fool us, that said, I believe in other life forms, whether they visit us or not is debatable.
extremeophiles are typically prokaryotes, from what I remember learning and Crick, the guy who discovered the structure of DNA and stole the info form from a grad student Rosalin Franklin believed that earth was seeded with DNA from space...maybe Mars? M-A-R-S, Mars, *****ez
I think most level headed people are on board with this. However, believing in alien visitation by spaceship on Earth is a completely separate issues. My opinion on that subject would be to state that it is possible, but not probably.
Okay, I thought the question here was basically if we believe in UFOs, I.E. Aliens have visited earth before... To me, I would say no... Do I believe that there is life elsewhere, of course. I would say without a doubt. I just think there is not enough data out there to know what other lifeforms are out there and the theorists often assume that there are many other life forms, far more advanced that we are... Maybe, maybe not. Maybe these "creatures" wouldnt be visible to the human eye. On the other hand, we may be the most advanced ones anywhere near this universe, so we could be the First UFOs someday that are spotted on some other unsuspecting planet far far away... With that being said, I have seen UFOs in california by definition. They were literally Unidentified Flying Objects. They were later identified by the US military as training runs off of Coronodo. Happened in Texas too. Lots of people witnesses this, but at the end of the day, it was those new military air crafts that are airplanes, but can hover with the turnbines facing down, basically suspending the aircraft. Me, my wife and three friends watched what we thought was a plane take off from coronado, and about 1 minute later, it came to a dead stop and was just sitting still in the sky... Freaky as hell... But it wasn't aliens, it was just the US military tinkering around with its new toys. happens all the time.
It's pretty naive, even ignorant to believe that extra terrestrial intelligent life doesn't "frequent our establishment". If you believe otherwise, than you most likely subscribe to the "climate change isn't real" theory, as well as believing you live in a "democracy".
Pretty sure that plane/heli combo thingy is the Osprey, used by the USMC. Not sure if they're still experimental, in use, or phased out, but I know there were some issues with those. Then when you look at what we're doing w/ stealth technology it's pretty crazy. I will say this...aside from the fact that I need contacts, my vision is sharp and I'm pretty damn observant...really good at spotting/ID'ing hawks and other wildlife, usually the first to notice movement in the woods, (also staring at the horizon for hours watching swells approach )etc...I consider myself a skeptic. I always use deductive reasoning to rule out possibilities and if I don't know what something is I admit it. I've seen some weird stuff in the sky at night that still baffles me, but I write it off as an anomaly. That being said, I have seen the laws of physics defied, with three other people, at very close range, one night that I referenced on here before...that night what we saw was undeniable and I think about it every day.
Also, thanks for voting fellers, was really just curious to see where people stood on this. And I want to add that like many of you, once people start telling me about the different alien races and alliances with our government and all that other stuff I run the other way. And those types of people completely discredit those who may have actually seen something.
