    disclaimer: song is NSFW

    reviving thread instead of recreating...

i dont know how many of you are fans of parody songs, or similar ones, but i am assuming most of you enjoy or at least laugh to the Lonely Island songs. well, they just came out with their new cd and out of all of the songs, this one is by far my favorite and ive played it so many times that my friends went from liking it, to loving it, to despising it, to re-loving it. (THAT's how many times lol)

seriously, just listen to michael bolton decking out these epic lyrics. if you dont love it immediately, watch the video and listen to it a few more times... (it took me 3 times to enter REPLAY mode):cool:

Jack White just flat out rips! Guy is amazing, a true musician! And whoever the chick is singing has some serious SOUL!

Sorry Got 2. Again Jack White ripping. Guy is probably one of the best musicians of our generation.

    My thoughts...

    1. Nirvana was far more significant to a segment of the 90's generation who intimately related to Kurt Cobain's struggles. If you didn't know before, he dealt with some serious abuse as a young guy, from both family and peers. Given the magnitude of all that $h!t, 'whiney' is not a word I would apply to his artistic expression. Nirvana's music was rad, but the whole act ran much deeper among those of us who dealt with some seriously nasty issues at that time. So, depending on who you are, you'd call them either good or amazing, and both opinions are valid.

    2. Rock and Roll is dead, though I do believe we got to experience the 'bang' at the end with the likes of Guns N' Roses. Appetite for Destruction is one of the best rock albums of all time.

    3. There's still plenty of good music being made, it just seems to be the guys who stay out of Hollywood. Every band that 'hits it big' seems to start sucking as soon as they sign a record deal.

Any song by TOOL. I really feel every one of their albums has surpassed or at least maintained the same high level of consistency as the previous, and it always gets me amped.

FYI: Doesn't anyone on here have a high school education or at least spell check?
New rule: the first person that spells something wrong in a back and forth opinion loses the debate.
