Yoga and weight training to make sure I'm fit to surf. Drinking, cooking, salsa dancing with my lady, Frisbee with the dog, money, hoes, clothes, blunt smoke comin out the nose, it's all a brother knows.

yea, definitely a solid piece of advice. my wife asked that if i'm going to get up & dawn patrol before work that i tell her before we get in bed the night before. our work schedules line up pretty well, so we normally get to have b-fast & coffee together & she looks forward to that b/c it's a quiet moment before the day really gets going. she's never made me feel guilty about ditching her to go surf, but those times i didn't clue her in the night before were pretty close.

Mostly play with my two wheeled toys. Leg powered and gas powered. Most years I sneak away for at least one trip with my pop.

Riding for him is like surfing is for me. I just love that I still get to do this kind of stuff with my dad.

I think this pic is from Virginia or NC on one of those trips.

Tearing apart the old 4runner to see if I've got a cracked block, busted head, or just a head gasket.

    Guns. Building guns. Shooting stuff.

Restoring cars. Wrapping up a '73 super beetle resto right now. 3 months total time into it, Texas car so I lucked out on the frame. Engine and roof were a mess, inhaled enough antique bondo and hardener to clog up a sewer line. Purrs like a kitten now, body is mint. Paint and interior and I'm done. I'll get some pictures up when she's all done.

And yes...old school wooden surf rack is on order.

Gym, frisbee golf, poker. If I can find a good series to read I knock it out fast. Love estate sales and garage sales. I refinish furniture that I get from them.

Now that is a hobby of reward that rivals car resto all day. Serious respect for those into woodworking / millwork. Art form more than anything.
Where are you from? You should hit New England. More antiques up here than you know what to do with.

Ho new brah, that is true yet the vast majority of "antiques" are more appropriately known as "junk". Everyone up here thinks they can put an arbitrary price tag on rubbish and call it valuable.

Im a little south of you. Down here in Texas. Lots of antiques. Lots of flea markets. Dig it when its too flat to surf.
