Thought i saw you say in an earlier thread that you've headed south for waves.

im gonna be in San Diego in June to visit family and my buddy has an RV just up the hill from San Miguel that i can use free and its in a safe (well...) area. We've alway gone in December and scored it on the NW swells but not sure about June though...any idea whether it would even be breaking then on weak-summer south swells? The only other break that i know of nearby is Salsapuedes. Thanks.

there's dozens of spots that break well on souths before you hit Ensenada. Be aware, the bigger the south, the gnarlier it gets. North Baja breaks much better than SD on souths, generally....except maybe Oceanside. You won't even get a sniff of Salsi without a boat.

With that being said, check out Baja Malibu, Calafia and La Fonda. Those are the most well-known breaks and can be seen from the highway. Be aware...these places are pretty powerful.

There are tons of other spots, but I can't let out everything...some people will call you out for "spot naming" if you tell 'em to go to Trestles.
