The good news is that Corolla has mild weather (air temps) but the ocean is still out of control. This is the 4th day of the wind blowing out of the ENE. Wave height is overhead, rough and no discernible sections/breaks. Pensacola, FL:

Good morning. The surf is running knee high with a bigger set ever so often. The pier had a thigh peak ever once in a while so I imagine there are some other spots that size too. The wind is blowing out of the ENE at 5-7 mph causing for glassy conditions. The air temperature is 51 degrees. Yesterday the surf peaked around 9-11 am so keep your eyes on it. Have a great Sunday. Santa Teresa, CR:

Very good surf today! Swell peaked and waves were head high with some few bigger sets. Conditions were great, and the offshore wind together with the dropping tide in the morning, set the field for an amazing barrel session, with steep hollow long tube rides! Super fun in the afternoon as well!

Corolla, NC:

I just took these pictures at the end of Carotank Road. Corolla has a big rough ocean with the wind still coming out of the ENE. Wave height is in the head high range but as you can see from the pictures, the seas are out of control. just one big choppy mess. wind forecast to be NE at 15 to 25 mph. major over wash at s turns again. access to four wheel drive only at low tide, maybe. only other access to hatteras island is by ferry.

Good morning! It is 51 degrees out here this morning a full 7 degrees warmer than the mainland! The surf is a solid shin to knee high. It is better form at 18th and looks to be holding a knee to thigh wave. The winds are out of the NE at 5-7 mph.
