Pensacola, FL:
Good afternoon! It's a cloudless day out here on Pensacola Beach. However the winds are blowing at 12-13 mph and gusting up to 17. That is causing for glassy, flatness on the Gulf of Mexico. Is anyone going out of town? We need a sacrifice to the surf gods as I think I may have brought about this flatness by getting my son a new board. Noooooooooooo. Well, check out the pics and the video. You can be at the beach without getting cold. Only one pair of feet were frozen during the making of this report.

Corolla, NC:
This report is being filed at 9:00 AM EST from Corolla. The tide is at its highest point causing the loss of 10 to 15 feet of dune. There is over-wash onto the access ramp that serves as the entry ramp from Corolla to Carova (Horse Fence Ramp). Please beware of lumber w/nails in the 2’ of water at the cattle grade. Gusting and clocking wind 25 to 37 knots. Please be cautious of ocean board walks which are losing their weight bearing support beams. STAY POSTED FOR UPDATES. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Pensacola, FL:
Good morning! If you are checking this early, you need a jacket! It is only 47 degrees out here. The winds are blowing out of the NNW at 16-18 mph causing for flat conditions. It's frrrrrrrrreezing out here. I am not sure when we will have surf next. There is a bump on MagicSeaweed, however the swell is going the wrong way...bummer. Keep checking as we will keep our eyes on the Gulf!! Have a great day!

Huntington Beach, Ca:
another smallish morning - south side of the pier is pretty boring - small little inside pretty mushy waves. a corner here and there. Overall its in the knee to stomach high range on the faces (at best) the die hards are on it but otherwise its tiny.
