the mosquitoes are so bad today, even on the beach, that i could barely stand there to take pictures. the tide was really high and surf somewhat jumbled up. wind forecast to increase out of the S at 10 to 15 mph.

kind of coming in and hitting the sandbar straight on with no angle to the sandbar. low tide around 9 AM. wind forecast to be S at 5 to 10 mph.

somewhat smaller than it's been but still plenty of overhead sets coming in. pretty disorganized and dumpy this AM. forecast for E wind at 5 to 10 mph. next high tide around 1:30 PM.

stormy, choppy, lots of current at the lighthouse beach this AM. frisco pier looks to be about shoulder to head high on the sets but is closing out. wind forecast to be NE at 15 mph. high tide around 12:30 PM.

thank goodness the wind isn't blowing as hard as originally forecast. N wind today at 20 to 25 mph. tons of current heading south. i put head high but there are bigger sets. high tide around noon.

the NE wind kicked in last night and has made a mess of the surf here. it's overhead and mixed up and very windy with a lot of current. wind forecast to be NE 20 to 30 mph diminishing some this afternoon. a report from frisco says there's too much east in the wind but there is swell over there.
