You are going to have to wait for the tide to drop. I took these pictures on the North Beaches looking south towards the horse at dead high. The tide will flip about 2:00PM, so your surf session will be in the afternoon. . Great ocean & air temps. It is ankle slapper at this posting but by the afternoon, you should be able to catch knee cap high long board swell. The Corolla Surf Shop Long Board Invitational will be at Shad Street. Small and choppy knee high at best. Winds are SW early and will be all day. May build a little towards end of day as winds increase from the SW.

Pensacola, FL:

Good morning and Happy Friday! The surf is flat. The wind is 2 mph out of the sw causing for glassy conditions. It is a great day to go for a paddle! It would be just beautiful. The sky is gloriously clear for the time being. I would go out and get on the water before the thunderstorms chase you off today. The weather man says 60-70% of rain today 50% on Saturday and 40% on Sunday. This is not the way I wanted to spend the last days of summer before school starts!! I don't want to be inside!!! It is Friday so have a great day! We will report later!!

Santa Teresa, CR:

Excellent surf at some reef breaks today! The swell peaked this morning with double overhead + waves at the most exposed reefs, and very good conditions. Beach break was today a bit more surfable, but action happened at south facing points and reefs. Afternoon was windy and surf was again choppy and messy.
