I took these pictures at 7:00AM. Finally, we have swell to talk about. Wave height at this posting is thigh plus w/an overcast sky and hardly any wind. The boards for toady would be a long board and/or a fat fish. Cooler air temps will make this a decent beach day. NOTE: OUR SURF SCHOOL FILLED UP LAST WEEK, SO PLEASE GET YOUR RESERVATIONS IN ASAP. Good morning! It is a beautiful morning on Pensacola Beach! The air is cool and not very humid. I saw the stars and the morning sky clear for the first time in a while. However,the surf is flat. There are little lines coming through. It could bump up to a small longboard wave. You can definitely SUP it this morning as it is nice and smooth on the Gulf of Mexico this morning. The wind is NE at 4-6 mph causing for glassy, cool conditions. Have a great Sunday, and we will update later today.

at least it's not raining. surf is rideable but not very good. sloppy conditions with some small wind swell.

Good afternoon. We still have some surf out here at Pensacola Beach. The surf is running waist to rib high. The wind is still blowing hard out of the SW at 16-20 mph causing for choppy conditions. This could be the last day of surf so if you haven't gotten wet yet you may want to head out. We will give you another report at sunrise tomorrow morning. Have a great Saturday.

A minor upwelling has taken place. Lifeguards say water temperature is 64'. Small semi-choppy surf though- get on it!

Pensacola, FL:

Good morning, almost afternoon! The surf is UP!! It is a solid waist to rib high with chest and sometimes bigger sets. The winds are 11-12 mph out of the WSW causing for choppy conditions, but it really isn't effecting the form right now. The cross even looked fun. It wasn't nearly as big as the Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier, but it still looked kind of fun on a heavy board that isn't effected by the chop. So go grab your board...it's surf on a SATURDAY!!!

Corolla, NC:

Surprise! I just took these pictures in front of my home break. We have an incoming tide at this posting and swell that is about thigh to maybe waist high. The wind is not blowing as hard as yesterday so I think you can consider a board with float ability and performance. Check your home break right now & see if it is working for you. Good morning. It's a cloudy/windy morning out here at Pensacola Beach. The surf is running a solid knee high and I did see one thigh high set at the Pier. The surf is really disorganized and the form is poor. The wind is blowing out of the SW at 12-14 mph causing for choppy conditions. You can see some of the lightning from this morning on the 18th video. It's pretty cool. We will give you another report at midday. Have a great Saturday.
