Pensacola, FL:

Good morning. It's a pretty morning out here at Pensacola Beach. The surf is running shin to knee high. You really have to wait for those sets to come through though. There may a little bit bigger of a peak ever so often if you are lucky. I checked the Cross, the Pier, and 18th this morning. I would say 18th was the most consistent. The wind is blowing out of the West at 5-6 mph causing for a small bump on the surface and the air temperature is 83 degrees. We will give you another update at midday.

Cape Hatteras, NC:

the surf has dropped off some since yesterday and looks pretty tired here at low tide. wind forecast to be S at 5 to 10 mph.

New York:

Small again today. Knee to waist high. Winds are calm early but will increase from the S later in the day. More waves for the weekend.

North Hampton, NH:

Pensacola, FL:

Good afternoon. Still an awesome day out here at Pensacola Beach. Pensacola is getting a rain/thunder storm right now though. The wind is blowing out of the SSW at 8-9 mph causing for semi choppy conditions. The surf is... ankle to shin at the Pier and the Cross is flat. Ernesto just became a hurricane. The sustained winds are 80 mph and its going WNW at 14 mph. Magicseaweed shows it being knee high in the morning, chest high at midday, and shoulder high by afternoon. Surf-forecast is showing the peak of this swell hitting us at 5 pm tomorrow. Magicseaweed is showing chest high Thursday morning and building to shoulder at midday and going back down to chest by the afternoon. I am so excited I cannot even stand it. Looks like lighter winds for the first part of tomorrow by afternoon they should be 13-14 out of the SW. Thursday morning through midday has ligher winds too. Thursday afternoon shows 12-14 with stronger gusts mph out of the SW. So the mornings through midday could be the cleanest. We will give you a sunrise report as always tomorrow. Good Afternoon. Well the surf is still flat as of now. Looks like the lake of mexico still. Hard to believe that at this time tomorrow we could have some REALLY good surf. Magicseaweed is showing chest high surf at this time tomorrow and it's also showing 3 stars. Wow! When is the last time you have seen 3 stars for magicseaweed? Get your boards all waxed up and any dings fixed. It is a gorgeous day out here at Pensacola Beach. If you have a SUP, take it out to the beach because it's perfect today for it. The wind is blowing out of the SW at 6-8 mph causing for semi glassy conditions and the air temperature is 86 degrees. The tropics are crazy right now. Ernesto is still holding in there at 65 mph sustained winds. We will give you another updated report this evening. Have a great Tuesday.

Please cut me a break for not getting current pictures of the surf posted on the report but it is small (ankle slapper to a weak knee) as Corolla is coming out of high tide. We just had a line of thunderstorms roll through the area so I have opted to post these rainbow pictures I took around 6:30 PM.
