Corolla, NC:
Good News! The Northeast wind has finally died down and surface conditions have cleaned up. We have size and lots of sand was pulled off the beach thanks to Irene. We are watching Katia hoping it stays off-shore & just makes for great fall surf!!! NOTE: JUST GOT A SHIPMENT OF CSS HORSE HEAD TEES IN. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Brevard County, FL:
Should be fun out there today and it will be a bit cleaner this morning than the afternoon. Nothing epic but worth the trip. Have fun and be safe.

New York:
Waist high with some bigger sets and choppy. Winds are light SW early but will increase later in the day. Should start to see building condtions early next week. Could be epic by next weekend. We'll keep you posted.

Cape Hatteras, NC:
a little smaller with the same NE wind blowing. The last pic is taken a day after the storm. I like how swept clean the sand is with no footprints.

Hurricane Irene spared Florida its wrath, and sent over some of the best hurricane swell seen on Florida's coast in many, many years. Follow Matt Bender as he tracks and rides these above average Florida waves. Locations include Ponce Inlet, Sebastion Inlet, Wabasso Beach and one secret spot.
