Corolla, NC:
Ever since Irene has left us, the weather has felt like Fall! Today's surf has been pushed w/a ENE wind that has chopped up the surface. You will probably want to wait for the tide to go out & see what type of quick sections might be found: NOTE: THE COROLLA SURF SCHOOL IS BACK & WE ARE TAKING BOOKINGS. YOU CAN IF U ARE DOWN AT THE BEACH CALL US AT 252 453 9283. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

New Zealand storm here with up to 7 foot. Some good waves in between giant close outs if you can miss big ones. Only about 10 surfers out at Tyson.

New York:
Knee to waist high with some bigger sets. Winds are light N early but will switch to the SW later in the day. Some fun little waves as the right tide/spot. New Xcel wetsuits, boots, gloves now in stock!

I forgot to mention I found pieces of Matt Wilkinson's boardshorts and some stuff - looks like Travis Logie's. Man, the chope was really throwing thick spit. All-time ASP swell, we even got some here - it was the best spilling-breaker take-offs in a while, not as bad as chope where they had to tow on the off-day. Nice contest!
