Cape Hatteras, NC:

the first picture is from the lighthouse. not much happening there. there is a little more surf on the southside but the tide is too high. it's clean though. high tide isn't until 9 this morning with low tide at 2:45 this afternoon. best bet will probably be the bath house in frisco or somewhere down in hatteras village. winds are north this morning at 10 to 15 and forecast to become 5 to 10 out of the northeast this afternoon.

because of the southwest wind it looks a little better north of the jetties. summer is back. southwest wind swell coming in this morning with marginal shape at the lighthouse. high tide will be at 12:30 this afternoon with the next low tide at 6:30 tonight. forecast is for southwest winds 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph this afternoon.

the next high tide at 11:30 this morning with low tide at 5:30 this afternoon. wind forecast is for 10 to 15 mph from the southwest, which it is blowing this morning. wind is supposed to increase to 15 to 20 mph this afternoon out of the south. it looks like summertime southwest wind swell/chop out there this morning. the shape is pretty poor.

the southwest wind has put a bit of a cross swell into the mix today. the surf still looks about the same size as yesterday but nowhere as clean of a line on it. high tide today around 10 this morning and low tide around 4 this afternoon.
