Cape Hatteras, NC:
high tide around 9:30 am and the next low tide around 3 this afternoon. winds are forecast to be northeast at 10 to 15 mph today. yesterday as the tide got lower the surf got really fun but today doesn't look like it's going to be a repeat. the swell direction has changed and it looks pretty sloppy out there.

Cape Hatteras, NC:
a nice little southeast swell coming in this morning but once again we are plagued with too much water. high tide is at 8:45 this morning with the next low tide at 2:30 this afternoon. we should start seeing an improvement around the middle of the day as the tide goes out. forecast is for light southwest winds today becoming northeast later.

Cape Hatteras, NC:
high tide at 6:45 this morning not helping the surf. way too much water. the next low tide is at 12:30 this afternoon. i expect, just like yesterday, the surf will probably improve three hours on each side of low tide. even though there is more white water this morning, the swell itself seems to have diminished since last night. wind is 'supposed' to be southwest 10 to 15 this morning switching to the east later and then southeast this afternoon as the front stalls on top of us.

Cape Hatteras, NC:
low tide is at 11:30 this morning with the next high tide at 5:45 this evening. the wind is blowing from the nnw at about 10 mph so it's clean on both sides. photos are from the lighthouse. the surf there is pretty small so the southside is todays best bet even though it is quite small and soft. another garbage photo....friends don't let friends buy junk from wings stores.

Cape Hatteras, NC:
the surf got fun here yesterday at both mid tides. today it looks a little smaller than yesterday but that could easily change with a different tide. the wind this morning is wsw around 10 to 12 mph. forecast is for it to diminish some this afternoon. tide was a bit low this morning and needs to fill in a little. low tide at 7:30 with the next high tide around 2 this afternoon.

Still a shoulder high peak now and then. NO wind. Get on it early or wait because high tide will kill it at 10 am.
