Cape Hatteras, NC:
i don't know if a higher tide around 11AM will help the surf today. it's about the same size as yesterday but with worse shape. it appears to be a southeast swell with a northeast wind chopping it up. wind forecast is for east at 10 to 15. water temp yesterday afternoon felt right around 70*.

Cape Hatteras, NC:
this morning at high tide is the choppiest glassy surf we've seen here in awhile. very light winds with totally unorganized swell. high tide not helping it. forecast for southwest winds at 10 to 15 mph will hopefully clean it up towards the middle of the day. water temp around 68*.
