Nice corners are working up and down the beach. Fast and furious sections. Clear and cool.

New York:

Comments:   SSE groundswell in the chest high range.  Winds are North early and will be all day. Looks like some really fun, cold waves coming in.  Get on it.  Looking like waves again for tomorrow.

Emerald Isle, NC:

1/20/09 – There’s a very uneven, wobbly 2 feet wave out there but nothing to get excited about at all (not lined up either). The wind is beginning to rip pretty hard too out of the NE/E and she’s not snowing yet. Have a great day - pics from Bogue Inlet Pier. Surf night at Ballyhoo’s this Saturday – more details to come later.

clean and fun waves in the waist to occasional stomach high set. Tide was high during the mid day making conditions mushy, but good for that fish.
