Ocean Beach, CA:

Hello from the OB pier in SD - Waves are holding in the knee-chest range, an occasional shoulder high one coming in. Winds are light out of the NW but the lines are still keeping great shape and looking fun. About 30-40 surfers all spread out from the north side of the pier to the dog beach; 3 on the south side. Air temp: 60F. Water temp: 60F. Get out there before the tide gets too low.

Comments:  Small clean waves.  Knee to waist high at best. Winds are NW early but will go more W later in the day.  May see some more waves for Sunday.

Long Branch, NJ:

Emerald Isle, NC:

1/9/08 – As advertised, northerly winds this morning and an occasional knee-high grinder coming through every now and then – nothing at all to get excited about. The first picture was probably as good as it gets today. Lots of wind the past few days and not much to show for it – good riddance… Another series of fronts to come through this weekend that might (underscore the word might) kick up something. Comments:  Chest high with strong West winds on it early.  Winds will go NW towards the end of the day.  May see some clean little leftovers for tomorrow morning.

WAVES CLEANED UP THIS AFTERNOON. THEY LOOK FUN. SLIGHT OFF SHORE WIND. THERE WAS A FEW GUYS OUT SURFING THIS AFTERNOON BEFORE DARK AT 64TH AVE. CHECK OUT PICS. I WILL BE ADDING MORE PICS A VIDEOS TO SWELLINFO AND YOU TUE TONIGHT.... CHECK THEM OUT
