Hilton Head Island:
No waves at Jacana - went to Burkes for morning tidal push. 5k W breeze. Extremely glassy with 2' barrels. Had fun on longboard for the longest time.

Emerald Isle, NC:
7/20/08 – Lots and lots of whitewater this morning, but it’s probably head-high if you could punch through and make it to the outside. Looks very drifty at the moment with an almost due east wind but northerly winds are probably just a few hours away or less (Jax, Wilmington, etc. are all north right now), which should help us out a bit. Get on it quick when she does. Have a great day and pics from Bogue Inlet Pier (BIP).

Gilgo, NY:
Southampton was choppy and high tide this morning...as tide dropped the wind came out of west and the waves cleaned up a bit. Still, a harsh sandbar and lot of backwash = death drops...

64 Ave N Myrtle Beach:
5-6 p.m. Chest high sets with the ocassional shoulder to head high wave. The sets are coming from far off shore so the rides have been longer than usual. I had a blast. There is a decent little rip pulling to the south.
