Hilton Head Island:
Got up at 6:30 (which is a big deal for me)for waves and was very disappointed - way to small to do anything in.

If you got that magic fish or the right longboard, you could make it work. Beautiful & sunny but only knee to sometimes thigh high but fairly clean. Little freigt train shorebreak waves, mostly rights.

New York:
Comments:  Waist high with some bigger sets.  Light west winds are on it early but still looks like some fun little waves.  Winds will switch to the SW later in the day.

Newport Beach, CA:
It's pretty good size this midweek. S.D. is seeing bigger size. Conditions are good in the mornings, but it tends be walled out. Water is warm. Go rip it up!

Tide is just starting to get a little deep, however there are fun little waves sneaking through. A couple hours after high tide might be the call, depending on the wind.

It's ridable...thigh to waist high on the outside, kinda weak & the drift is kicking with those SW winds gusting down the beach.
