The NE wind continues to chop up the ocean creating rough surf. Wave height is about thigh to stomach at low tide. The wind is blowing at 25 mph+. This is leaving anyone that is on the beach feeling a wind chill in the low 30’s. The forecasters are predicting warmer weather with a switch in wind to the SW: GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
I was woken up late last night by loud thunder. Although the storm came from SSW, this warm weather pattern allowed the wind to switch and come out of the North at 33 mph. You can tell by the pictures that surface conditions are choppy and wave height is thigh to waist, but there is no definition to the sections. NOTE: GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE A GREAT GIFT. Nice way to celebrate the 1st day of spring. I took these pictures in front of my home break with an incoming tide. Wave height is waist to chest and the wind is off-shore out of the WSW. Since I have snapped the pics, the sun has come out which has pushed the air temps up to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. My recommendation is to watch your favorite sandbar and see how it is breaking. Hey waist high, off-shore and 60 degrees: NOTE: COROLLA SURF SHOP IS LOOKING FOR A FEMALE SALES ASSOCIATE TO WORK IN OUR STORE THIS SUMMER.
