Corolla, NC:

Corolla has an offshore wind which is created flat ocean. As you can see by the pictures that I took, wave height is only ankle slapper. We have in unseasonably warm day, air temps arein 60s. It's a great beach day and the sun is out. It's just not a surf today. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Corolla, NC:

Corolla is getting ready for the winter storm that is already hitting the ENE. The forecast is for high winds and rain. The ocean & air temps are too warm at this moment for Corolla to get any snow, (at least at this posting). The OBX has a high wind coming out of the North at 25 plus. I just took these pictures at Shad Street. We have a very rough ocean, wave height is 3’ with broken sections and a very strong side-shore current: GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
