Corolla’s surf & weather are back to normal December conditions after yesterday’s spring day. The wind has switched and is now blowing out of the ENE. This change in wind direction & flatten the surf. The ENE has also cool down air temps down to 50’s Fahrenheit. Just enough west this am but if it gets any more north it will be over. Tide is really high so only the biggest waves are breaking enough to be rideable

Corolla, NC:

We have unseasonable warm weather for December. Air temp is almost 70 degrees. The wind is off-shore, out of the west/southwest. The is giving us clean sections and surf that is about waist high. Our concern today is wind strength. In experienced surfers might get pushed around. Water temp is 50 degrees, so you will need a full suit, boots and gloves.
