Ventured out to central america with Bill and Golden. In search of waves we found scorpions and monkeys dispersed among the jungle. Living in net secured thatched roof huts, only having bare essentials, accompanied by sporadic solar powered electricity. This was truly off the grid. It was a challenge to manage electronics to capture moments with half charged batteries. The waves, super rippable, the food...fresh and amazing. This trip has a chapter in the books. Enjoy!

Corolla, NC:
Today’s surf looks just like yesterday’s surf. Wave height is knee cap high, the sell is out of the ESE and we have an off-shore wind out of the SSW. You will need to do 2 things if you want to go surfing: a) catch the incoming tide & b) have a longboard. NOTE: WE OUR NOW MOBIL FRIENDLY…JUST BOOKMARK THE SURF REPORT ON YOUR CELL PHONE & IT WILL LOAD UP IN A SECOND. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Corolla, NC:
Current wave height is only knee-cap plus. Corolla has an in-coming tide at this posting. The SSW wind is leaving us with decent shape on the sections, smooth surface conditions and a cooler water temp. The heat index is going to hit well over a 100 degrees, so drink lots of water. NOTE: WE OFFER FREEE DELIVERY ON ANY OF OUR RENTAL PRODUCTS INCLUDING STAND-UP PADDLE BOARDS. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Corolla, NC:
Classic summer July surf day in Corolla. Wave height is only thigh high but the shape of the wave is great for long boarding. The wind is currently blowing at 10 mph (SSE-S-SSW). We have a great water temps at 75 degrees Fahrenheit. NOTE: IT IS GOING TO BE A VERY HOT DAY…REMEMBER TO HYDRATE. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
