I just took these pictures in north Corolla. As you can see we, currently have Lake Atlantic conditions but also mild weather. Air temp will hit 61°F. The pictures tell the story: Corolla has flat ankle slapper surf but clean surface conditions. The wind is out of the WNW, steady at 15 mph. Despite the flat ocean, it is a warm day on the beach. Tiny SW wind swell

Corolla, NC:

We are 2 days past a full moon, so the pull on the tide will be less each day. Surf conditions on the northern beaches are small thigh high waves. Corolla has an off-shore wind blowing at 11 mph. Surface conditions are clean and we currently have an outgoing tide. The sun is out & 41 degrees Fahrenheit feels like 50. NOTE: REMEMBER, NAT HALL’s MEMORIAL SERVICE IS TODAY.
