Good morning. The surf is flat on the right side of the Pensacola Beach Gulf pier. There is a ankle to shin high wave on some of the shallower sandbars. The wind is blowing out of the NNW at 4 mph and the air temperature is 80 degrees. High tide is at 7:51 this morning and low tide is at 6:13 this afternoon. Knee to waist high at best. NW winds will be on it all day

I thought last night's storm would shave created more swell. But this AM, we have a knee cap high surf. But I did take the pictures right at the moment the tide was flipping. Wave height at this reporting is a weak-knee cap high wave. The air has cooled down and water temp moved back up.
