Corolla, NC:

We have Corolla barrels thanks to a steady of-shore wind out of the west. Wave hight is waist to chest high waves and a wind that is blowing at 20 mph. Air and water temps are a little on the cool side. The good news is for mild weather all week long. Good morning. The surf is running solid knee high. The wind is blowing out of the NNE at 12-14 mph and the air temperature is 49 degrees. We have a neap tide today. We are not expecting the surf to build today but the surf models are showing surf later this week. Have a great Sunday and we will give you another surf report later today.

Don't let the foggy pictures fool you. Air temps in Corolla are almost 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Although it is cloudy, going surfing today could be an option. Wave height is thigh to almost waist high plus the tide is flipping at this moment. You will still need a 5/4/3 with the water temp in the low to mid 40's.
