Corolla, NC:
Surprise! Today's surf is an improvement over yesterday. The wind has died off and surface have cleaned up, plus it is partially cloudy with the sun popping out. Wave height is chest high but in order to get the best sections you will need to paddle out to the outside break. NOTE: THE COROLLA SURF SCHOOL IS 18 YEARS OLD! Corolla, NC:
Cold, wet and nasty! The winter storm that hit up north yesterday has left the OBX with a Nor'easter, waves almost up to the dune and rough seas. Air & water temps are matching each other at 43 degrees. Wave height is well overhead but the sections are unpredictable. The only way to handle the situation was look at my fall pictures from Nicrauga. The good news is that spring like weather will be arriving this weekend. NOTE: WE RECEVIED A DELIVERY OF RIP CURL WETSUITS FOR SPRING BREAK. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
