Corolla, NC:
The winter storm that hit the mid-atlantic has impacted the OBX. It started yesterday with Monday's out of control surf, wind blown and high tide line hitting the line. There is a very dangerous side-shore current running North to South. Spring?? GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Corolla, NC:
We have been tricked! Just when I thought spring was here to stay, a cold spell moves back into Corolla. The wind is out of the ENE which as created choppy surf and a wind chill in the mid 30's. Wave height is thigh to waist but there is no definition to the sections. NOTE: ANY SUMMER STUFF FROM LAST YAER WILL BE MARKED DOWN TO 40% OFF. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP

Pensacola, FL:
Good morning. The surf is up! It's running chest to shoulder high with bigger sets. The wind is blowing out of the South at 16-18 mph causing for choppy conditions and the air temperature is 65 degrees. We have a neap tide today. Keep your eyes on the surf for this afternoon. The wind is supposed to drop off a lot and it could go offshore. Monday is looking really good. It's supposed to be offshore all day with light winds. Let's hope it stays that way. Have a great Sunday and we will give you another surf report later today.
