At this AM posting, Corolla has the same conditions we have had for the last 3 days. Shore breaker-ankle slappers at 8:30. But the tide is going out. I found a very workable break in Ocean Sands (sections C & B) once the tide flipped yesterday. I would wait for the tide to flip 10-10:30 AM & see if your favorite sandbar starts to break. NOON UPDATE: THE WIND HAS CLOCKED AROUND FROM THE SSW TO THE ENE. WAVE HEIGHT IS THIGH HIGH W/SOME CHOP: (8:00AM REPORT) When I took these pictures, the tide was still going out. At this moment, we have “Lake Atlantic” conditions in Corolla. Dead Low is at 9:00AM. We are hoping once this tide starts coming in that wave height might pick up to knee-cap high. Wave height at this 8:00 AM posting is only ankle slapper to knee cap high. But the tide is going from low to high at this posting. This should help to give the surf a little push: maybe increase too knee-cap plus. We have an off-shore wind out of the WSW blowing at 15 mph. H2O is 64 degrees due to the off-shore wind. NOTE: WE HAVE A GOOD SELECTION OF USED BOARDS. WE HAVE TWO 7 2” FUN BOARDS. GREAT ALL AROUND BOARD. GARY, COROLLA SURF SHOP
