March came in like a lion, but it is going out like a polar bear. The pictures tell the story: very rough un-surfable ocean, choppy surface conditions and a wind chill in the high 20's. Wave height is well overhead and there is a strong side shore current running North to South. The good news is that warmer weather is forecasted for this weekend. Super windy this am with a few light snowflakes falling. Mega current.

Santa Teresa, CR:

Wednesday March 26th 2014. Surf was good today in Santa Teresa. Waves were on the waist to chest high range as the swell slowly starts to fade. Nice and Clean conditions for the morning session and many fun rides rolled in at the peak upfront Blue surf Sanctuary. Afternoon was a lot choppier and waves were closing a bit at the dead low tide. Swell will continue to fade out until the weekend, but a new SSW swell fills in on Monday!
